Ha Vinh Tho

Dr. Ha Vinh Tho is the Program Director of the Gross National Happiness Centre in Bhutan. He is an international speaker on GNH, Happiness and Wellbeing and beyond GDP for business and government audience (www.gnhcentrebhutan.org)


From 2005 to 2011, he has been the Head of Training, Learning and Development at the International Committee of the Red Cross. He has trained humanitarian professionals working in war zones and emergency response in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe.


He is the founder and chairman of Eurasia Foundation (www.eurasia.org.vn), a humanitarian NGO developing educational programs for children and youths living with disabilities, as well as ecological projects in Vietnam for nearly 20 years.


He is a visiting fellow in adult education and humanitarian work in several Universities (UCL/Belgium, Geneva/Switzerland, Schumacher College /UK, Mind and Life Institute/USA, Presencing Institute/USA).


In recent years, he has delivered public talks in HCMC and HN about strategic directions in people and organizational development such as Gross National Happiness, Social Emotional Learning in Education and Business. 


His true life stories as an educator and humanitarian expert with extensive experiences working in war zones and developing countries will help us connect to our core values, of human to human, of deep-rooted concerns for nature and society, from which we can realize the real meaning of happiness and of our life.
